With respect to the carrier in which the pet will be placed, it can either be hard-sided or soft sided and must not exceed the dimensions limit of 21 x 15 x 16 inches. There is no limitation on the number of animals comprising a litter. If a female dog or cat is flying across the domestic borders in the USA, then her litter, age 10 weeks or 6 months, can travel in the same carrier as their mother.
